The Gertrude Murrel duPont Fund

Gertrude Murrell duPont Howland, W’31, believed that attending cultural events could be a powerful complement to your studies at Richmond. She established the duPont Fund in the 1950s to help eligible students attend cultural events — from dance and theater to concerts and exhibitions — throughout the academic year.

Top Chefs

UR's Dining Services has won a grand prize from the National Association of College and University Food Services for residential dining and catering, is in the top 50 best dining experiences by College Rank and also in the top 100 nationwide for best campus food with an "A" grade by Niche. Check out our chefs' culinary chops at eight dining locations across campus, ranging from all-you-care-to-eat to late-night grab-and-go options.


With 18 campus ministries, pilgrimage trips, and multifaith programming, the University Chaplaincy fosters an environment of inclusion and exploration to help students grow in their faith.
