Students & Citizens

One in seven Richmond students devotes time to engaging with the local community through the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement, which partners with area organizations for social change. Through courses, research projects, volunteerism, fellowships, discussion series, and reflection, the CCE explores community-identified needs.

Natural High

Beyond the Weinstein Center for Recreation and Wellness, students can participate in outdoor Natural High programming, equipment rentals, bike sharing and recycling programs, and the on-campus high ropes course. With its URWell services, Richmond takes a holistic approach to student health and wellness by combining the expertise of the health center, counseling and psychological services, and health and wellness education.

UR's Dining Services has won a grand prize from the National Association of College and University Food Services for residential dining and catering, is ranked in the top 75 best colleges for food by The Daily Meal, and is ranked in the top 100 nationwide for best campus food with an "A" grade by Niche. Chaplaincy

With 18 campus ministries, pilgrimage trips, and multifaith programming, the University Chaplaincy fosters an environment of inclusion and exploration to help students grow in their faith.
