Health & Well-Being at Richmond

Building a Culture of Well-Being

The University has formed a Health and Well-being Unit, bringing together the work of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), the Student Health Center and University Recreation. This integration solidifies a decade of collaborative work and strengthens programs that support high achievement and a well-balanced life.

Recreation & Wellness is now reorganized into two distinct departments: University Recreation and Health Promotion. Joined by CAPS and the Student Health Center, these four departments have formed an integrated unit soon to be located together in the new Well-being Center and the adjoining Weinstein Center for Recreation.
