Tom Roberts, former Assistant Vice President for Recreation and Wellness, has recently been promoted the Associate Vice President of Health and Well-being to lead a new Health and Well-being unit which will bring together Recreation, Health Promotion, Student Health, Counseling and Psychological Services, and the Center for Sexual Assault Prevention and Response.  In 1988 he became the first Director of Campus Recreation at the University of Richmond where he established the Campus Recreation Department eventually renaming it Recreation and Wellness.  He started his career at Old Dominion University as the Assistant Director of Recreational Sports before moving onto San Diego State University where he was Manager of Recreational Sports and an Instructor of Sports Administration.
