Dr. Brown has published and presented nationally and internationally on the topics of early education, reading recovery, teacher education and global awareness.

Jessie Ball DuPont Grant awarded for the purpose of establishing a Reading Recovery Training Site for teachers at the University of Richmond, 1991.
Reading Recovery International Teacher Leader Award presented at the International Reading Recovery Institute in Maui, Hawaii, 1992.
