Adjunct Assistant Professor, Education

Kassner has worked along the lifespan continuum in education over the past 12 years, including early childhood, K-12, higher education, professional development and adult learning. She is a respected instructor, modeling best practices in instructional planning and delivery. She actively engages in research that impacts teaching and learning, educational leadership, and policy development using both quantitative and qualitative methods. She recently won the Virginia Educational Research Association's Distinguished Paper award. She provides research and consulting support to a variety of clients, using interpersonal skills to build community, drive change, and implement sound practices that improve teaching and learning.
