Reopening Information for Campus Locations

The University remains in the Red Stage of our Physical Distancing Framework, which will serve as the guide in our approach to gradually resuming operations on campus.

The list below details the reopening plans of locations throughout campus that students, faculty, and staff frequent and enjoy. At this time within the current red stage of our framework, these are ONLY open to faculty, staff, and students, and outside visitors are not permitted. This list will be updated as locations reopen and more details are available.


Reopening Information for Campus Locations

Heilman Dining Center

Open; limited hours

The Heilman Dining Center is open for posted meal times and 'purchase on request' is available at the ETC grocery store to students residing on campus, faculty, and staff. Access to the HDC and ETC level of the building is only available during meal times. Additional details are available at

Print Shop

Open M-F, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Campus Post Office

Open; limited hours

The Campus Post Office is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend service is suspended until further notice. Additional details are available on the mail services website.

One Card Services

Open; limited hours

One Card Services is open Mondays from 8:30 a.m. to noon for ID card replacements. After noon, students/staff with a lost card may get a temporary card from URPD until they are able to visit the office to exchange for a replacement. One Card Services will not be taking ID or passport photos for the foreseeable future while face coverings are required on campus. If you are new staff/faculty or student, you must upload or email a photo to One Card Services. Additional details are available on the One Card website.

Weinstein Center for Recreation

Open; limited hours

The Weinstein Center for Recreation will reopen Aug. 10 with physical distancing and limited capacity for students, faculty, and staff only. Additional details and updates are available at

Retail Dining Locations

Open; limited hours

The retail dining locations on campus will be open for a variety of grab and go options using Grub Hub to faculty, staff, and students. Details at

Boatwright Memorial Library

Open; limited hours

Boatwright Library fall semester hours begin Monday, Aug. 24. A UR ID is required for entry; no outside visitors are allowed. A self-check out machine will be available to check out books, and the campus community is encouraged to use available chat, text, and email services to communicate with a librarian. Campus Bookstore

Open; limited hours

The SpiderShop store opens to students only Monday, Aug. 24. Hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the SpiderShop website.

University Museums


University Museums will be open to the campus community by appointment with a plan to reopen at some point during the yellow stage of the Physical Distancing Framework.
