Student Health Center

The Student Health Center is closed to direct patient care during the summer. Messages left via email or telephone will be returned by staff as quickly as possible.

Dining Services

The Heilman Dining Center is open daily for customers to purchase and pick up meals at the following times:

  • Lunch: 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • Dinner/Breakfast: 5:00 - 6:30 p.m.

ETC is open daily 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

We accept Spider Card, credit cards, cash, and meal plans for students approved to live on campus. Visit dining.richmond.edu for menus and updates. All other dining locations are closed.

Boatwright Memorial Library

Boatwright Library is currently closed to the public. Please visit our Library Updates page to stay current with changes and new developments.

Weinstein Center for Recreation

The Weinstein Center remains closed while the University of Richmond is in a modified operating schedule in which employees are asked to work remotely, to the fullest extent possible. When the Weinstein Center reopens it will include increased safety protocols for physical distancing and cleaning as set forth by the Governor and University of Richmond officials.

While gyms across the Commonwealth are permitted to reopen, the Weinstein Center is considered an institution of higher education and follows different timeline/protocol for opening in order to ensure the safety of the UR Community. 

Career Services

All in-person advising, including drop-ins, as well as on-campus recruiting and programs for Career Services are cancelled through the remainder of the semester per the University’s guidance regarding COVID-19. Virtual advising is available and we are currently planning potential alternative platforms for Career Services programs. Likewise, some companies will be conducting virtual recruiting activities coordinated through the university. If you have any specific questions, please contact careerservices@richmond.edu. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)

CAPS will be closed for counseling services from June 12 to August 17, 2020.

Students on campus who are having a mental-health crisis: Please call URPD crisis number: 804-289-8911, or dial 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. 

Students who are returning home and need mental health services are strongly encouraged to seek care locally. If you need assistance in finding a provider, you can contact a university or college in your area and ask for their list of local providers. There are two online search engines which may also help:openpathcollective.org or psychologytoday.com. TAO Self-help: www.taoconnect.org is always available from any location. If needed, you may also email your CAPS clinician for additional help in finding local resources.
