Are events, camps, and conferences cancelled?

Events, camps, and conferences scheduled on or before June 29 have been cancelled or postponed. Please see the Interim Policies for more information.


Will Commencement be cancelled?

The University plans to celebrate the Commencement of its graduating students later in the year.

Will performances at the Modlin Center continue?

Modlin Center events scheduled prior to June 29 are cancelled or will be rescheduled for a later date. See the Modlin Center website for further updates.

What impact does COVID-19 have on University-sponsored travel?

All non-essential University-sponsored international and domestic travel is cancelled, regardless of location until further notice.  See the University’s Interim Policies for more information.

Are travelers from impacted areas prohibited from returning to campus or asked to change travel plans?

Yes, in accordance with guidance from the CDC, anyone that has traveled internationally must self-quarantine for 14 days. Additionally, individuals that have traveled domestically to New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut must self-quarantine for 14 days before returning to campus.

Should I cancel my personal travel plans because of coronavirus?

The University strongly discourages personal international travel and domestic travel at this time.  All faculty, staff, and students residing on campus who are planning personal travel to any destination, foreign or domestic, must register that travel using the University’s travel reporting form.
