Guidelines According to the
Fifth Edition of the APA Manual

The APA (American Psychological Association) Publication Manual provides guidelines for writing scientific articles in a consistent and coherent style. The manual is not only about the format of papers but also about ways in which authors can express themselves clearly. The guidelines provided in the manual have been adopted by many researchers in the social and behavioral sciences (not just psychologists). Many scientific journals also require authors to submit papers in APA style.
