Eric Ward threw for 245 yards and three TDs as No. 7 Richmond rolled over No. 21 Eastern Kentucky, 38-10, Saturday in an FCS Playoff First Round game. Next Saturday's game at App. State will kickoff at noon ET.

Three Spiders scored in double-figures as Richmond (6-0) won the Double Tree Classic 64-46 over host Tennessee-Chattanooga (2-3) Saturday night. Sophomore Brittani Shells was named as the Tournament MVP.
Llano Closes Book On Successful 2008 XC Season At NCAA Championship

Junior Matt Llano finished 176th overall, posting a 10K time of 31:29.6 Monday at the NCAA Cross Country National Championship hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Ind. Llano was the first Spider runner in 29 years to compete for the National Title.
