Course Accounts (Faculty)
Online course support is available through the Center for Teaching, Learning & Technology, which uses Blackboard to host all courses.
To access Blackboard or to request a course, use your network ID and network password. Do not use your University ID and pin; these are used only for access to BannerWeb.
If you do not remember your network ID and/or your network password, or if you are unable to access Blackboard using your network credentials, please contact the Help Desk at extension 6400.
BannerWeb (Faculty, Staff and Students)
BannerWeb is the University’s online system for course registration and provides other online services, including employee payroll information. To log in, please use your University ID and BannerWeb pin (these are different from your network username and password). If you need assistance in accessing BannerWeb, contact the Help Desk at extension 6400.
Student Organization Accounts (Students)
Student groups recognized by the University may develop a group site at www.student.richmond.edu. Account requests will be honored when approved by the faculty or staff advisor. Student groups may have only one Web site and may appoint only one individual to access and make changes to that site.
In order to set up or make changes to the access to a student organization account, the faculty or staff advisor must contact the Help Desk at 287-6400 or helpdesk@richmond.edu.
Note: While the University offers Web space and training opportunities for students at the Technology Learning Center (TLC), the University cannot provide development support through the content management system nor through the departments of Web Services or Marketing Communications.
Personal Accounts (Faculty, Staff and Students)
The University provides space for all users to develop and maintain a personal Web site. All students and faculty automatically have their Web space created upon activation of their computer account. Staff also may request a Web site through the account activation process.
Account activation is supported by the Help Desk, which may be contacted at extension 6400.
More information on account activation is available at the Information Services Web site.
Note: While the University offers Web space and training opportunities for individual accounts at the Technology Learning Center (TLC), the University cannot provide development support through the content management system nor through the departments of Web Services or Marketing Communications.
