Web Steering Committee
The Web Steering Committee has been created to set policies, priorities and long-term strategies for the University's Web sites. It is chaired by Phillip Gravely, editorial manager for marketing communications, and its members include: Eric Palmer, director of web services; Kirk Jonas, interim associate provost; Kathy Monday, vice president for information services; Roberta Oster Sachs, interim assistant vice president for University Communications; Troy Boroughs, director of systems and networks; Matthew Levy, University Staff Advisory Council representative; and Barry Lawson, University Faculty Council representative. Representatives of key offices may be asked to attend committee meetings according to issues at hand.
The committee's current priorities are the migration of official University sites into the new content management system, the implementation of new design templates and the development of policies to clarify the University's "best practices" for future Web development. The committee meets regularly to discuss current issues.
If you have questions or suggestions, you may contact the committee at webinfo@richmond.edu. The appropriate member will respond in a timely manner.
