Saturday: Game Day

Westhampton Green (Between Booker Hall, Keller Hall, and Gray Court)

Mingle with other Richmond families while enjoying good food, outdoor games, and live music by Richmond's own student jazz combo on Westhampton Green. Cost: $15 per person. Please include your student in your picnic ticket count.

Richmond Spiders vs. New Hampshire Wildcats* ($35 per person)
Kick-off: 4:00 p.m.

Cheer on our Spiders in the E. Claiborne Robins Stadium as they host the University of New Hampshire Wildcats. The afternoon start will give you plenty of time to socialize before and after the game, but don't miss the hard-hitting action when head coach Danny Rocco's team charges onto the field. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

How much are football tickets and is there a child ticket price?

$35 per person and all tickets are the same price.

Should I include a ticket for my student when purchasing tickets online?

You will be able to reserve your student’s free ticket if you choose to do so.  You will also be able to indicate your seating preference (with or without your student).  If you do not claim your student’s ticket, he/she will still be able to reserve his/her ticket through the student ticketing website.

If I do not reserve a student ticket for my student, how does my student claim a ticket?

Students who need to claim a student ticket may do so by visiting the student ticketing website at Starting Friday, September 12, at 12:01 a.m., Richmond students can login to their account to claim and print a student ticket for the Family Weekend football game. Student tickets will be available until Monday, September 15, at 11:59 p.m. or until all student tickets have been claimed. Please note that if you reserve a ticket for your student through the Family Weekend Registration process, your student will not be able to claim a student ticket via the student ticketing website. All tickets claimed on the student ticketing website will be for the student section only.

Will I be able to sit with my student?

Yes, when you submit your information while purchasing tickets, you will be able to indicate if you want to claim your student’s ticket and if you want your student to sit with you.

If tickets sell out, will there be a waiting list?

No, since the likelihood of a large number of tickets becoming available is low, we will not keep a waiting list.

Will more tickets become available closer to game day?

If the Family Weekend ticket allotment sells out, it is unlikely that additional tickets will become available. Please visit and click on the tickets tab to check for tickets.

What if I need additional tickets after I have already purchased my tickets?

Prior to Saturday, September 13, contact (804) 287-6818 to purchase additional tickets. After Saturday, September 13, please visit to see if any tickets are still available the week of the game.

What if I cannot use my tickets? Will I get a refund?

NEW THIS YEAR: Refunds are NOT available.

Where will my seats be located?

Family Weekend tickets will be interspersed throughout the stadium. Please note: some seats will be located within the student section. All seat assignments are random and cannot be changed once tickets have been issued.

How will I get my tickets?

Tickets will be available in your registration packet until 6 p.m., Friday, at the Welcome Center. On game day, tickets should be picked up at the stadium Will Call, Ticket Window 2, which opens 4 hours prior to kickoff. Please note: if you claimed your student's ticket, his/her ticket will be with your tickets.

Getting to Campus on Game Day

Campus congestion and parking on game day:  you are strongly encouraged to carpool or take a shuttle from your hotel, if available, on game day as parking will be limited and the campus will be extremely congested.
