k-3 Grade Class Visits
K-3 grade teachers are welcome to contact Dr Bell concerning class visits
to demonstrate fundamental principles of both chemistry and biology. Although
these visits can be on a single occassion, Dr Bell welcomes the opportunity
to work with you to develop a monthly series of visits throughout the School
year to fit your curricula needs.
Here Dr Bell uses simple bar magnets to demoonstrate to kindergarten students
at Bob Air Elementary school some fundamental properties of atoms and how
they interact: this visit was part of a series: later in the year Dr Bell
led the students in hands on experiments where they investigated the effects
of temperature on a chemical reaction.
